Vans has always been a heavy part of skate culture but many of people don't realize the impact the brand also had on BMX riders. Vans were on the feet of racers and freestylers like Bob Morales and Eddie Fiola all through the 70's and 80's. Continuing decades of partnerships with riders and builders, the guys over at Cult Crew kept it traditional for their third collaboration with Vans.
Cult Crew's take on the Old Skool Pro model delivers the classic black and white suede upper but adds a popping safety orange collar lining and flag tag to throw contrast into the blocking. Tonal black on black embroidery of the Cult logo is on both tongues as well as the heelcaps. Have we mentioned how much we love embroidery on Vans? Well, we love embroidery on Vans. The UltracCush HD sockliners also get a blast of orange with the Cult logo split between the pair.
The Vans x Cult Crew Old Skool Pro is available now from Cult Crew for around $65. Check out the video of Cult Crew rider Sean Ricany putting them through their paces below.
