Finally, VFC brands The North Face and Vans have teamed up for the collaboration we have been wishing for. We are happy to announce that TNF chose to work with Vault to create this collection of winterized footwear and apparel.
The collection consists of three colorways of the Sk8 Hi LX MTE, three Desert Chukka LX MTE, and a puffy Nuptse jacket. The Sk8 Hi LX MTE will arrive in green/brown, navy, and all black. The uppers will be composed of water repellent leather and suede while the sidewalls are constructed out of TNF's patented Everest Micro Ripstop material. The Desert Chukka LX MTE comes sherpa lined with the same water repellant suede uppers in black/black, black/blue and brown/green. Both models will boast The North Face's Wintergrip rubber compound outsoles and Vans lugs. These definitely aren't your basic MTE's.
Alongside the the footwear, Vault and TNF are releasing the very familiar Nuptse jacket in black and grey with gradient checkerboard pattern on the shoulders. Constructed with 700 goose down fill, the high loft jacket delivers plush warmth in brutal conditions. Sorry, SoCal, this might not be for you.
The North Face x Vans Vault Capsule Collection is slated to release October 31st at Vault retailers only. Check the Vault locator to find your nearest stockist. Retail is $120-$130.
