There is no shortage of artists out there who are customizing Vans these days. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't get some sort of message asking for a feature by somebody who has painted something on a Sk8 Hi or a some type of similar request. Be tagged us in a post last month and I was really impressed with the work. It's simple but it's executed really well, and most often, that's what really matters.
Be has taken two black Slip On Classics and applied 3M reflective paint in a couple different designs. First, he took a stab at an anatomical phalanges motif which he calls the "Endo" Slip On. The reflective bones look great against the black background. It really reminds us of the Misfits. Our favorite from his design is the checkerboard design. We love ubiquitous checkered print Vans and the addition of the 3M brings this to a new level. Be has designed these when night-riders in mind and it really reminds us of the Transit Line collection that Vans put out on their DX line.
The Custom 3M Slip Ons by Be are currently unavailable but you may be able to hit him up for a commissioned pair. Be has made these on Classic silos but he had said he is willing to apply this same design to Pro or Vault models. Reach out to Be via Instagram or his website.
