J. Crew has a long history of collaborating with brands on models that are quickly snatched up by collectors and resellers. Their projects with Vans have generally been under-appreciated by the masses. Their last denim pack however, was popularized by Nick Wooster and there was a noticeable difference in sold out pairs on the website. With that, J. Crew has created a tonal pack with Vans that consists of a solid blocked suede upper on top of a vintage, off-white stripeless midsole. The pack is available in both navy and black and we think the latter is sure to be a swift seller.
The J. Crew for Vans Tonal Sk8 Hi Suede Pack is scheduled to be available in October from J. Crew stores as well as online. They retail for $70.
